1-3-9 Members’ Meeting and ACB panel at the IP&TV World Forum

Tuesday, March 20th, 2012

Sarah Pearson has been conducting industry neutral research that has been funded by UK TV companies for the past seven years. The results from the most recent phase of the 1-3-9 Longitudinal Media Lab were presented yesterday at the BBC Council Chambers, and were extremely well received by consortium members. Those who attended the members’ meeting yesterday gave very positive feedback and were grateful to have participated in this discussion into the future of TV viewing.

After the success of yesterday’s meeting, ACB are now very much looking forward to presenting at the IP&TV World Forum within the session entitled ‘TV on the Move: Taking the Tablet’. The panel will be called ‘Ground Breaking Research into the Future of TV Consumption on all Screens’, and will be moderated by Sarah Pearson. ACB are very pleased to be presenting alongside two advertising gurus on this panel: Steve Smith, Group Thought Leadership Director at Starcom MediaVest Group, and Mike Cornwell, International Business Leader in Brand Communications. The new players in the TV market will also be contributing to the panel with their own future perspectives, with representatives from Samsung, Microsoft and Skype also participating. ACB hopes that this panel will provide attendees with a well-rounded insight into the future of TV from a variety of influential sources.
